Actually Moosie, I'm not a fan of "one off art work cars".
I can appreciate the art but to me there is an art in the low volume 2500-5000 homologation specials of a different sort that I apprciate more.
I mean come on I'm a production guy---machinist and welder--- and I find the orchestration of all the materrials, processes, jigging, fixturing assemblies, pre prep-and final assembly to be really facinating since the end result is not one sooooooooper dooooper way crazy car but 2500 or 5000 pretty damn goood cars
THAT I CAN EVENTUALLY HAVE.

But mon cher Johnny,

You know damn well that I am referring to the sexyness of the car and appreciate the attention to detail. Especially mating a Vulva power plant with an Opel brings tears to my eyes. Did you happen to notice that he didn't use fiberglass, it's all metal. It's kinda like drroling looking at a centerfold, it doesn't mean we'll get to date her. I love the colour too.

Remember, I learned how to drive in a 1964 Opel Rekord 1700 and my first practice car was a 1972 Opel Rekord 1700, and I rallied a Manta 200 back in Yurp. So I have a soft spot in my fuel pump for Opels.

Mwah.

that's a great quote!

nice car, for a show car. i too like the cars that are more go than show. as in go and race or rally or even some dailies are funged up! it's like all these show cars that they put big engines and do all these fancy things and then never fucking drive 'em. it's even worse when it comes to motorcycles.... yuppies cringe when they see how durtay my ducati is. so they dont inspect it up close which is good cause if they did, they would notice that it's actually a honda FT500 dressed up as a duc. but that's a different story all together.

Hell yes, he does. I love the way he breaks the ass end loose on those sweepers. It sounds positively evil. I'll never see this car in person, and JVL is right, it's not the sort of thing you get your hopes up to one day drive or own, but it *is* damn sexy and I'd hit it. grinning smiley
