Seems worse this year than previous. Bad ads, bad actors, bad taste. This next 2 weeks is going to take forever, almost enough to make ya miss Octomom....

But boy those GQ photos almost make me want to watch Glee...almost smiling smiley

My whole voting life I've wondered what it would be like to vote FOR somebody, as opposed to voting against the greater of two buttheads. It looks like I'll keep wondering.

That statement should be engraved at Lincoln's feet.....

I voted for a few people, but I appear to be in a minority as they always loose.

I think it's worse this year due to so many privately funded political action groups that are pretty much unregulated and can spend billions on ads. Thankfully I've found if you don't watch TV or listen to the radio you can miss most of the smear. My local NPR has been having an hour long discussion with each of our gubenatorial candidates on the evening commute time slot so that's been nice hearing them actually discuss things.
I must say though, these wacko Tea Party people have me scared. But hey, they'll all be replaced in a few years regardless of what happens.

The problem with the Tea Party is that the original message (Taxed Enough Already) has been obscured by Glenn Beck and the asshole Republicans (as opposed to the asshole Democrats) who have attempted to co-opt the movement for their own. Screw all of them. There are going to be some HUGE changes coming down the pike in the very near future and every one of these shitheads is going to be in for a rude awakening.

If you don't have anything nice to say, we'll declare you an enemy combatant we'll dump you in Lake Michigan.

That the Government Employee's Union is now the largest spender in this election makes me uncomfortable some how. In some ways it seems like a fuzzy conflict of interest.

Having a union of non government employees as the 4th biggest spender does not bother me at all.

Golly, ya think? Look at all the lovely perks Congres has voted itself, and that's where the GEW wants to go. With what's left of our money. There's no conflict of interest at all, unless you count that outmoded discredited "we the people" thing.
