Stolen from the big evil site I go to, it included a link to this thread at a different site. I'm currently up to day 22 and I gotta say it's been a very interesting read so far. Two people and their Toyota decide to cross the congo.

I will definitely read that when I have time!!!
When I was a kid (like 8-10 years old and on), all I wanted to be when I grew up was a field virologist working in the Congo searching for the original source of Ebola and/or HIV. Then I wanted to be a parasitologist because they have the coolest life cycles ever! Now I just want to do something where I'm not stuck behind a computer for 40+ hours per week.

It's a long read, even when skipping all the replies and only reading what the threadstarter posts or the questions he answers. I'm still not done with it. But, so far, totally worth it.

Dayum! Why dint I stink of that!!!!

(TV, and Film Production, and Photography was a majoe of mine once when I was trying to go straight.
Relaisied there were a million kids in the burbs living at home with Mommy and daddy all with more 'spensive equipment than me and finally one week aftera 40 hour week bustin ass in a Navy warehouse to pay the rent/16mm film and processing, and looking at nothing but crap, and throwing away a weeks work, I figured fuck it, I'll go race bikes in Europe, that was in my hands anyway....
Great brilliant logic, eh?
