....laying down a rubber road to freedom.

Indeed those Grup A volvos had some interesting stuff. I've seen pictures of some of them that had both mechanical AND electronic fuel injection. I think the electronic ones would come on once a good head of booOOOst was boiling.

Here is some good pics of the neolithic beast. http://www.tuff240.com/gpanumber5.htm

I've heard that about the fuel injection....Kjets & LH!

Though I read on one of those specs sites, the fuel injection was all Kjet....The LH system....or use of the AMM was for injecting water meth......really cool idearrr.

Either way.....a cool vehicle.

Once again my version of events is slightly more interesting than reality. Eh.

That's OK.
The re is a LOT of "interpretation" of the limited info and old news and old bad translation which are often pure bullshit and against what we know the rules allowed and what was on the Homologation papers.

Note: whatever TYPE of fuel infection it had to remain that.

Born K-jey, stay K-Jet for FUEL.
See 1987 Monte Carlo WRC--Ford enter a 2wd Cossie for Kalle Grundell and a 4x4 Sierra V6 for Blomqvist and later admitted that the fuel infection was whatever they used on Swedish market.....stock....but it wasn't in the Homologation form, it was I think LH Jetronic, not K-Jet and they were later fined like 230,000 Bucks by FIA--or more.

Shows how important Homologation process and papers are.

So Myles are you planning on giving a Volvo a cambered rear axle?

If so you are a bigger savage then I.
