Waht sells better automatic or manual transmission?

Just curious, what sells better a manual transmission or an automatic?

I lucked upon a 1996 automatic, escort got it for 350. Pretty much prestine condition except i had to replace the cylindar head. Now I want to sell it only to get a escort GT, or even a manual escort with the same body style or year. Was thinking of even offering a trade for one. Kind of sounds like a long shot.
