Alpental Rd last weekend

Had a friend in town from Florida, she was definitely a passenger and not a co-driver. I had fun though!

Alpental as in Snoqualmie pass? So you are in Seattle now? I really like the road from the Denny Creek camp ground up to Alpental.

Yeah, Snoqualmie Summit. Thanks for the suggestion, haven't been up there when the snow is melting, seems like it would be a mess??? I love out of the way places though, I usually end up find the best places getting lost.

Take for example what I thought would be a simple trip last summer to find Blue Dog Farm (love blueberries!). 2 hours after leaving Seattle I found a chicken and a "Red Brick Road" (true story ). I decided to pull to the side of the road and found this sign Maybe one day when I have a whole lot of time on my hands, I'll turn my car around and drive to the other coast!

And the chicken....I asked, I really did...he gave me the claw...didn't want to talk about it
