Check local listings. The show is called "Stunt Junkies" and airs tonight at 10pm EST. (For me, on DirecTV, it's also on again at midnight.) Ken Block aims to jump his WRX rally car farther than ever done before in a special, 30 minute program.

This is supposed to be that jump everyone saw and thought was fake a while back. Its on TV tonight if you're interested.

The only part that is a first is dedicating a 30 minute program to it.

Colin's jump over what has since been named Colin's Crest in Sweden was nearly double what I've heard Block's distance to be. Gigi in 2005 went further as well. As do many others every year in Finland and probably elsewhere.

Weelllll...

From 0-60 Magazine:

Speaking of McRae, we heard he too couldn’t believe you tried this stunt?

"Yeah, since X-Games we have been exchanging emails. So, when I sent him my little event report and photos, he replied 'If that’s for real, I will eat my driving shoe. Obviously fatherhood hasn’t affected the size of your balls.' I am pretty happy to have impressed Colin to that level! He is sort of my hero. Oh and Colin, I am still waiting for that video of you eating your shoes."

:shrug

I just think it's cool. Extreme or not, it's good to see anything on TV that might excite new people to want to know more about rally over here. :thumbsp
