If you think that Fox news is the problem.... Pay attention to media around the world.... Note that the 'Mainstream Media' here in the USA speaks of one voice.... Ask yourself... Cui Bono? Uh-oh. JohnLane Overkill is consistently more fun |

No idea with this shithead in office. He is far worse than Jimmy Carter (who was a horrible president). |

I don't watch Fox news. I will say though: I always find it comical when people are so quick to talk shit about Fox for being biased. I guess biased news outlets are only an issue/talking point when you happen to disagree with what they're saying? I never see the neckbeard hipsters crying about CNN(Piers Morgan, holy shit...) and MSNBC. |

Shouted from the rooftops until he/she is run out of office and life is ruined Their team does any and all very real evil here at home and all around the world........ Nothing to see here...... Move along. JohnLane Overkill is consistently more fun |
Wow .... the political theater yesterday with the so-called hearings was amazing. These fucks have already decided to go to war with Syria. Meanwhile John McCain was playing video games on his phone during the theater acting. He either was caught or hoping to be caught to expose the fraud (the latter unlikely).
There are so many movie scripts playing out here including "Wag the Dog". I wonder how long before "Seven Days in May" without the Kirk Douglas saving the country. |

Yes, the GOP is NOT any friend of a Conservative (generally speaking!). Or a Liberal, either. (Classic sense - not these Totalitarians that hide-behind the "Liberal" signboard). Parfois, on fait pas semblant! I am: I know: I am from: Nobody. Nothing. Nowhere. |

Ya'll had expectations of a GOP being a conservative or dem being a lib? They're all the same thing, corporate interest supporters. Sure they wave around flags and talk all Rush Limbaugh passionate about shit, but in the end, none of them give a fuck. You are ALWAYS voting for what you think will be the lesser of two evils. But they're all fucking evil.

I think it's kind of funny that some people seem to that the person in the oval office actually makes much of a difference in any of this.
If anyone things the 'other' candidate would have made ANY difference in where the country is at today, you're fooling yourself. The mess of 2 parties both being corporate shills is something done better in 'merikuh than anywhere else. There is no counterbalancing force or party to corporate power... Anymore. Add to that the habit here in all phases of life that people think and speak almost always in theoretical or abstract terms... In much of the world people see that here, but here its the norm so nobody pays this much mind. Thinking abstractly leads to the sorta shit we see in such simple shit as building and driving cars: parsing unimportant details to death, fighting about trivial shit, "debate" about shit where scoring a point is a "VICTORY!!!!" over the "enemy". There should be (and that word should be forbidden) a party that simply represents ordinary wage earners--and the others, they can run their parties "The party of those with 90% "unearned" income" (like looking at Mitt Romneys tax returns of 20 million dollars, not a penny was from "wages", all of it was dividends, dividends from trust fund, interest on money sitting somewhere, not from working. Of course a party that would claim to represent ordinary wage earners would have a hard time looking at "the Opposition" only in one country because the opposition is Multi-national....so it would be inevitable that it would hvae to be a cross-border outlook... And then insular 'Merikuns would have to realise they are no different, no better, no worse than other wage earners everywhere---and that they must think they are the same-- and "the enemy" is the same.. And it ain't a bunch of fried brain camel (or goat) fucker tribesmen who are the threat. (effective range of the camel (or goat as the case may be) fucker's AK is around 350m) Multi-national Corporations effective range is global. So what Party could concern themselves with simple, concrete, ideas relating to ordinary wage earners as opposed to Corporate interest? JV... it's not as simple as that. It's all about POWER. It always has been. From before history. Communism works only small scale (think small tribe). As soon as that group becomes large enough that the rulers are insulated from the people to any degree, well, there is an opportunity for the allure of power to destroy the system. Communism doesn't work well. Anywhere. The Nationalist Socialist Party didn't work well either. People vote for freebies, and that enpowers the government. Power corrupts. The cycle continues until the whole model collapses. But then again, nothing lasts forever, and the USA as it stands today will eventually collapse/change/diminish/expand etc.
Hey... (and take this in a friendly conversational debate tone) I don't want to pay your health care bills if you choose to smoke, drink, risk life and limb in a rally car, run on mountain trails at night, eat hot dogs etc etc. I don't want to subsidize laziness. Everyone has a shot to work to better themselves. Simple as that. Sure, it's easier for a lot of people, and harder for a lot of others, but the opportunity is there for the taking for most. Sometimes it's not. Since the beginning of time life hasn't been fair, and their is no way to legislate fairness, it's just moving the unfairness around. I need a government that will keep the infasructure together (the definition of that expands as we progress), appropriate levels of police, appropriate levels of military, and a government that will prevent the big greedy corporations from stomping all over us and the environment. Other than that STAY OUT OF MY SHIT! Syria. Quite clearly a mess with no good solution. I believe he used chemical weapons to inflict terrible suffering and death on his own people. I believe this because I'm sure the Obama camp would prefer to not have to face this mess, and thus wouldn't have a good reason to fudge evidence. Our credibility is at stake because dumbass in chief drew a red line in the sand. Assad is evil, but if we knock him out we're probably helping a bunch of extremist terrorists. If we do nothing we give the green light to use this type of weapon against civilians by any regime anywhere. Awesome! The whole region is destabilized, and Iran is building nukes. They're watching to see if we really mean what we say. At least we've told everyone that this strike will be completely pointless, we've told him how we're going to do it, and we've taken enough sweet time that all their important stuff is tucked away safely in schools and hospitals. If some of my friends end up flying over there I would expect the missile threat to be high. Thanks. Oh, Bengazi. You bet your ass there's a problem with that. On so many levels. And a huge government coverup. And no, I don't watch Fox News. Everything about is sucked, but mostly it was the coverup and refusal to acknowledge the obvious (organized attack), and the blaming of some schmuk who made an anti islam video (instead of sticking up for freedom of speech in spite of disagreeing with the message). It was all politics while good guys died. We should be angry about that... these people work for US! |

Big difference between Communism and Socialism, big split at the Second International back in 1892 when the French Socialist look at polling trends and saw they would certainly get a majority in Parliament in the '94 elections (which they did).
The Socialists said "Hang on, Marx said before workers can control the Government there must be a violent revolution, but we're going to get it by the ballot, what does this mean?" The Communists said "Its a scam, they'll never let you excercise power blah blah blah--Marx said you have to have a violent revoltion, then ya gotta have a violent revolution" They were wrong, the socialists were right. Hell the gawddam Rooskie Bolshies shot Socialists and Anarcho-syndicalists. Be that as it may, there should be a party to counterbalance the unrestrained power of trans-national corporations... If its about power, there's more of us then there are them. But the main point I thought was the thing about "theoretical and abstract thought and speech".
