Fantasy? You been peeking into my head? If so, you would know that it involves Natalie Portman in that lab coat waving the Nitrogen hose around while threatening to give Tednecks a Cryo-enema...but I digress.

"then get good and drunk and sawzall the cage out." "Fantasy? You been peeking into my head? If so, you would know that it involves Natalie Portman in that lab coat waving the Nitrogen hose around while threatening to give Tednecks a Cryo-enema...but I digress." Both posts are examples of "Tedneck baiting". While Tednecks may always be in season, online "baiting" of the critters is specifically not allowed. I have informed the moderators. BTW, Tedneck's beleive that cryogenic temperatures dull the nerves and they prefer that Nat puts something a little hotter up their tail-pipes. Ted Mendham www.rensport.net |

Mike, haven't been paying attention to the forum lately-been in the barn wire wheeling and burning undercoating off! ;-)
Anyway, we were going to get a dewar, but decided not to. Don't know why. We may yet rent one to finish cleaning the inside. Talked the the local guys months ago and they have one for rent with a long flexible hose. Good luck and don't stick your tongue on the wand! ;-) Cheers! Just planning ahead - scoring another blue subaru shell to start preparing properly this time around. After all, I DID go racing without doing much shell prep... while racing, why not putter in the garage on the next shell for when I eventually wad up the current car?
![]() JVL - is the death ray still a rentable unit? |

Never was rentable. Like about 405 of the things I dop it was done as a LOANER deal...ya know, community building? Helping others do stuff they may not have thought about, that sorta thing.. I'll look and see if its actually here. It was in Denver so long I had thought it gone forever. It MAY have been returned so maybe the best thing to do is go bitch-slap Grant for a few minutes then ax him if he sent it back, that would be easier than me looking around. Wait! You're down in SC... I got it! PM Dave Kern and ax him to bitch-slap Grant....I don't think more than 3-5 minutes would be needed.. OK? I thought Grant mailed it somewhere about a year ago.
Quick question to fellow death ray'ers. Anybody else seen issues with weakening of the sheet metal? Just had about 30 factory spot welds crack right apart (no rippin'n'tearin - clean snaps) in the trunk area where the diff was supported. Was wondering if its possible we froze the sheet metal too much? If memory serves, the sound deadening crap was thinner back there and someone did put an air hammer right thru the floor over the gas tank. Dave |

WHILE it is frozen, it can shatter.. That's while a gentle hand and a good ear is best for doing it.. I poked the ol chip hammer thru the metal a few times. And wait, you LQ Ned some area and had spot welds fail.. What happened to the stitchie-welds you must have had the foresight to put in what you know is a stressed area? David, you did stitch didn't you? David I want to to go stand in the corner till you decide to tell us why you didn't stitch an area you cleaned that you know is stressed. Go! Nose in the corner. No talking till you tell us.. (well, I never!---harumph!) It was stitch welded too - some of those welds tore, some held up...but about 30 factory spot welds popped clean apart. Dave Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/30/2013 12:32PM by DaveK. |
