Source for 52mm ID coilover sleeve?

Building some front coilovers for the Colt. Need a source of 52mm ID coilover sleeves to fit over the stock strut housing.

Thanks.

Wilson

Wilson, I can get you some coilover sleevie thangs, and do a quick ID bore if you want but I oughter ask, have YOU measured the actual struts that YOU have?
Nother words you measure or did somebody say they were 52mm cause I've seen a lot of Japonaise struts at 50.8mm which is 2 zoll.
If'n youse really has 52mm, the 2 inch id ones can be bored to that like toute suite.

Are you being smartie and getting long enough so you can run springs long enough?
What springs you stinking about?

I've measured the tubes, but it was a while ago, and they were bigger than the Bilstein 7" long 2" ID sleeves that I got from Stockcarproducts. Those sleeves (aluminum) have a ridge inside, and I may just pay someone to machine them. I tried to open them up using a bore hone, but that was a disaster. Not having the right tools sucks.

Springs are 14" 2.5" Hypercoils in a spring rate (I forget) similar to the Safari Springs. Actually, now that I think about it, I think I got the spring rates from one of your Esquirt scans. I can push them down by my body weight.

Happy New Year.

Well Wilson when you're all sobered up and can mostly see straight, go remeasure the stuff, and then send them USPS flat rate and I'll bore the damn things as thanks for the work you do with NASA Rallysport and send them back. I could probably make you a nice little ring for the things to register against that yopu could weld onto the tubes.
Probably cheaper than having a local machine shop make a big deal of it.

JVL:

According to my centech digital Chinese prison labor made caliper, the OD of the strut tube is 51.2mm, or 2.00 inches. And I have "Bilstein 2" coilover sleeves". I do question the caliper's accuracy.

Also, since you know things from Bilstein, can you get/source me a part number or part for an externally threaded gland nut (2 of them) that will fit a 1.81 inch ID tube at the threads for a P30 insert (I know, but I've got them in hand, and we need something that works before Sandblast, plus the car weighs nothing)? The internally threaded ones that came with the inserts are internally threaded and bear no. B30-627 B1, which are for Porsche or VW.
