Oh yeah, Tim, what's the situation with the anti-squat?

I need to move a bunch of crap around the shop so I can get the corner weight scales off the top of the pallet rack with the forklift. Then I need to get Al to bring me a set of junk front struts that I can weld solid at ride height. Not going to happen tonight but possibly this weekend. I'll let you know.

Tim

Finished up the new trailing arms that match the turret location. All 0.125" 4130 chromoly, teflon lined spherical bearing, and 303 stainless spacers. We're thinking they need to get nickel plated because paint would hide the welds. Oh, and they weigh a pound less than stock.

That's pretty sexy..

You're worried about paint hiding the welds so you won't be able to spot a potential crack? Or do you think everyone should be getting a chubby looking at them? tongue sticking out smiley

Cheers

Finally got to do some testing. All the new suspension parts work quite nicely. The 30 year old rubber parts did not fare quite as well. The car is balanced and easy to drive...just needs a better transmission and another 200hp Al was all grins when he got out of the car.
