HPDE sheet as underbody protection.

I've been told to wear protection, it's more fun to not, but I think I should from now on. Anyway, where do you guys purchase yours and what thickness? I play to use a bunch of 10mm bolts through the floor board to fasten it.

I'm using star board [think cutting board] with allen button head fasteners.

The 25ft roll will do an entire car and then some. To get the material to flatten out (it comes in a roll), place it in the sun with some rocks or boards on it to hold it flat. It'll be much easier to work with.

Looks like the sheet that Robert linked to is 1/8 of an inch thick.

What is the thickness of the starboard that you are using?

It might be 1/8 but it seems thicker, possibly 3/16 or 1/4

I think mine is 3/16" thick. I have 2 that run along the floor on each side front to back between the wheels. They're fastened by stainless hex bolts into M6 threaded tabs welded on the opposite side of the floor so they're easily removable.
