Pulstar Plugs ? -- Cream or Crap...
April 14, 2008 09:03PM
Okay, I saw an ad in the Jan 2008 Scientific American for Pulstar Pulse (Not Spark) Plugs.

Are these for real ?

http://www.enerpulse.com/

At 24.95 USD per plug it strikes me that it should do something....

They claim MORE compression / torque / whp ....

Anyone tried them?

For real or real f'ing magic?

I changed out a set of those on some dude's explorer because it was misfiring like crazy. New set of champion coppers cleared it right up. At $25 per plug I'd say they're crap.

How can a plug increase compression ratio, much?

I'm glad that someone out there spends more money than me on plugs.

Thanks to all for your input.

I must admit it looked kind of (okay really) hokey.

The claims that they make are to great to be believed.

(Reminds me of the IAT sensor "Performance" chip)

Thanks again.
