I was running sweep for Laughlin back in, oh, '99 or so, and we came upon this Saab in the middle of a long, sandy straight that looked like it had just run into a tree. only thing was, it was in the middle of a straight road without a tree in sight.

Turns out it had 'sploded its flywheel (in the front in those silly things) buckling the front of the hood in a most treelike fashion.

Physics is neat!


Not to be a Neon defender or anything, but an SRT-4, for all its shittiness, does seem like a pretty reasonable rally car. It's beyond overpowered in factory trim, and already has a passable LSD (Quaife, yea, yea, but I think they're fine), so you can build and campaign the car without ever opening the hood. That has to be worth something...
