That must have been before they went the Wal Mart retail method of trying to stick to mostly part time employees so that they'd not have to pay benefits and associated items related to full time employees.

Home Depot is just down the street and maybe 20 hours a week won't be so bad. I figure, if I can hang on for a year, I'll be able to pay my one credit card completely, save a nice chunk of change for the down payment on our house (lease option comes due in Nov 09), and reduce my fucking ridiculous $800/month student loan payments to something closer to $500. All while getting this and that for the rally car dream.

Here's to hope!

I drove it last night. Still need to cap those lines and plumb the IC. Radiator hose FTW!

$800 a month in student loans and you're looking to work at Home Depot? What'd you get your degree in, underwater basketweaving?

I keed, I keed (If you want a laugh, I got mine in history!)

DeVry charged $300/hr when i started, almost $500/hr when I graduated. It's the most fucked up inflation in any market out there. They actually find they attract more students when they jack up the price. Then you get a wholesale education while you're herded through the doors as quickly as possible so they can make room for the next group of sheep.

Of course, I also hung on to any money above and beyond my tuition and whatnot. It was the biggest mistake of my life in more ways than I care to remember. In fact, just thinking about it makes me want to bash the shit out of something blue right now.

Degree is in Technical Management.

/going out to the parking garage to smoke heavily and stare at the Galant. (Yes. It's fucking back on the street as of yesterday.)

wait, is that 500/credit or really 500/hour? If its the latter you should have gone to Princeton, it would have cost less.
