Mostly true but with mine (and soon yours smiling smiley ) theres no switch, its active anytime the clutch is depressed and throttle is fully open. I've had it come on when I fucked up a hairpin and had to shift into first. Also it's controlling boost or should I say LIMITING boost so the cars making 10 psi sitting still.

I haven't looked into that all that much...since i like my trans.

But you could easily fire in another switch so it's only on launch control when you want it.

I don't think it's soo much controlling boost, but when you are bounching off any rev-limiter (even stock) you will make some boost..but that's probably more because of the back fires and shit in the exhaust.

I may however just wire it up to scare the piss out of Timmies Drivethru people.

I've had this idea for WAY too long to go out to the Timmies Drivethru at 3 AM in the middle of the snow storm, and pull the "FIRE IN THE HOLE", in a rally car with Launch control, ALS, etc!
