On my laser I only used large head metal screws.

Only lost a mudflap when a tire came off the rim and ripped it. Maybe I was just not fast enough though!

After seeing so much effort expended on flaps we decided to do something solid with the mounts so we could cheap out on the flap material itself.

fronts, same concept, pictures don't show as much detail


The material is some cheapo stuff one of the guys picked up. We left enough extra at the top so that if they wear out we can just take the bolts out, lower it down and reinstall. Cost was something like $10 for the material, we have enough to make a couple more sets, a few years worth, I think.



I like open light.
