I have an early RX-7, but with the "big bearing" strut/spindle assemblies.
Even so, ever since SOOMEONE said that they are weak and break, I've been bending the snouts and wrecking where the outer bearing rides so that even with the bearings preloaded, there's a ton of play.
Sucks all around, basically, and my supplies are drying up. At least the process of damaging them is fun enough...
Anybody know what other imports use the two-bolts-to-steering-arm type arrangement, and (the kicker) would be worthwhile to adapt in?
I'd scrounge around local junkyards but older import stuff isn't too common, so the plan is to ID my target first, then hurt for *that*. (Even so there is a yard here with FOUR - FOUR!!! XR4Ti's, so there is hope)
