I use whatever brand of synthetic is on special at Walmart in 10w40 (preferred) or 10w30, and change it every 1 or 2 rallies.
Motor was used when I put it in, and it's been well used for 7 rally seasons since (approx. 35 events).

Everyone is over analyzing this...

Does "effectively thicken" mean the same thing as "thicken"?

Here call the people that wrote that and ask them to make it clearer for you

Corporate Headquarters

Afton Chemical Corporation

U.S.A.

Tele: +1 804 788-5800

I'm sure they will want to have their wording adjusted to make you happy.

I did. They said that they wrote "effectively thicken," instead of "thicken," because the additives don't make the oil any thicker. The additives just make the oil "act like thicker oil" in that it maintains viscosity at higher temps.

In other words, they said exactly what Pete wrote and not what you claimed.

Ah, the switch back to your typical form of "argument." Now, what was I supposed to do in these situations?

Oh, yeah.

Fuck off.

I've thought a lot about the oil for the new rear diff. (As always, I've already made up my mind and I'm only telling you this so that you can confirm my decision and tell me how clever I am.) The goal is to make the oil thicker without altering the viscosity. The solution is ground-up Viagra.

No, deadhead, this is a rally forum not some place for masturbatory and bed-wetters such as you obsessing about the nice car they have..
YOU fuck off, there are forums catering to wankers like you.

It only seems like I'm a masturbatory bed-wetter, my dear stalker-troll. In truth, I define "love" as not making her sleep on the wet-spot. But we digress.

Woah woah woah.

as much as I love the "banter" here... this thread concerns the Justy which sports "hello kitty" stickers, and I have signed autographes for 9 year olds at rallies.

Yep.

while the justy is slow, and only finishes once in a while, Jeff and I try to remain calm and smile, we're out there to have fun. We routinely get chatted up in service, and both of us have signed autographs for kids.

probably helps that it is pint sized and orange! winking smiley
