Yup. More than my entry fee actually. I think I got like $220-250 for 2nd place. I was closing the gap on Papa-Con. If I hadn't missed the run on practice where I was pulling the windshield I probably could have got him. There's a ton of time left out there.

Not anymore...I doubt we'll ever race on that road again. Such a shame they shifted it to before PPIHC this year.

i was rather hoping to make a CO hill climb in the rx7 before i deployed but doesn't seem like there is a chance of that.

what happened? county shut it down?

looks like automatic "sports package" equiped cars are the ticket 86-89. Sports package was standard for turbos, and optional for non turbos.

A NEPA study is required before we can go back there (current one expires at the end of the year) and the going rate on those is $10,000-30,000 with no guarantees you'll end up with a positive result. Couple that with the fact we're only allowed to use the land every other year and we just can't spread the cost out over enough events to make the numbers work.

I'm wondering how some of the smaller regional rally events are dealing with these same issues with Forest Service access.

i know for the idaho rally, we just plain avoid forestry.
