Saw this nice photo of a Toyota 8" axle Kevin Hawkinson and I modded, and long links and nice shocks over on the other place...all my stuff, my ideas I've tried so hard to make understood for so long.. Really appreciated seeing the stuff.. And really nice to see people giving credit where credit was oh wait.... nevermind. Yeah, you got it, Sean.. Over here William is claiming credit for my designed Focus stuff and then over elsewhere my junk he changed and don't fit, there Ian's car its "so and so did this" and folks, including you Sean, say nothing...when you know that little guys fabbing things depend on word of mouth for our livlihood...and need the repetition of the name to be seen especially when there are innocents over there and folks so rarely direct them where they can get better build info... I dunno it's like this guy (a childhood hero of mine) Yes, that place did a nice job---Of installing the parts I made/hadmade/supplied.. Could have easily spun that into positive brand recognition instead of the butthurt rant against a poster who meant no harm, who most likely just didn't know, and slinging mud by implication towards a fab shop who wasn't even posting or claiming anything.
Then you berate your friends for not knowing it was yours and saying how awesome you are? Jesus. If you spent even a little effort acting like a business instead of...being you...you could make a much more positive impact both on rally and your own business. I'm continuously amazed anyone buys stuff from you the way you interact with people and I can't be the only one who thinks that way.

i dont have any back story on this specific guy, or what u did for him, BUT i do know alot of people wont go out of their way to advertise for a company unless there is some sort of sponsor-ship arrangement. unfortunate for the good, but small companies out there. I be sorry as a muthafucka I did, still sorry I did n' hustled ta peep what tha fuck I holla'd a lil' bit better, or at least try to. |

And what is this shit you just came and smeared all over but a useless rant ranting about something that doesn't concern you but concerns me? ... That's all you do as far as I can see and all because you didn't get a stroke job about your stink pick up truck, so now and forever you're on a vendetta... You may be right. There probably are people that don't want to talk to me, but they are probably people like you, people that entire contribution to any forum and maybe in life is just one long complaint--a rant like about. They are people that i would not want to deal with either.. You can go and rant someplace else...Maybe some pick up forum where you can get the accolades you are burning up for. I won't even suggest that you think how you'd feel in the same circumstance, you're not the type to think, much less think of anybody elses' point of view or feelings. +1 for JVL, just got my 40mm stuff back from him all fixed up. Answers all my questions to boot. Can't wait to get the new 50mm!
Now about that axle. Does it have disc brakes on it and if so what is the setup? Trying to figure out what I want to do for Corolla version 2.0 and I would prefer a Toyota axle as the diff is so much easier to service/spares/etc. John Reed John Reed Racing www.johnreedracing.com johnreedracing@gmail.com |

Thanks John, glad you tolerate what a meanie I am to you. I'd hate to have to smack you around to get you to like me... But I will if I have to... (That's a variation on "the beatings will continue until morale improves" which I entusiastically approve of.) Stock Volvo discs and calipers.. The Toyota 8" is pretty damn kick ass for a privateer....you won't break it and they don't cost a lot. Flange to flange its about 58.25", Volvo 240 is 54.5" Somebody needs to look at a Toy "Pervia" van.....8", discs on back, 5 bolt.... HAHA don't be a tease. I have been looking at pictures of the Pervia axle due to the discs but wasn't sure if it was suitable in terms of strength/etc. A bit wider is fine with me, then I can fill out some proper 80s fender flares.
