I got a bunch of mine at bass pro. They have tons of the tackle box stuff that is dirt cheap... not as tough as some of the stuff above, but really... why do you need to abuse a bolt box.

Stuff like this I am of the buy it once mentality. I have a metal parts box that is at least 20 years old...... I have a Harbor freight plastic one that I threw out after 6 months.

For the win . . .
Goodwill industries:

walk in, and try and find the aluminum turkey tray, or buffet dish. Sometimes you can get stainless steel food service tray. Great for home/garage sorting, doubles as coolant catcher.
Depending on the type the lid works on it's own.

I steal everything from the fancy fastenal style bolt bins @ work smiling smiley

We built our collection at auctions over the years for pennies on the dollar. Bigger plant auctions are the ticket for this sort of thing if you can show up late or hang around til the very end of an auction when they typically sell the tool room / maintenance area. We have two big 5' high rows of blue bolt bins. We don't have enough metric stuff sad smiley

if i was buying something for home?
probably do something like this. these are sweet and you can move em around easy.

Ding ding ding!
ALL the hundreds of Alkro bin boxes in lots of sizes and thousands of flod up cardbord bin boxes, AND the miles of 6 foot plus shelf racking were all gotten from Boeing surplus--and that was a carefully jam pack van load of shelving gotten a hour or two before their closing down for Christmas holiday for cheep.

Good tip Brandon whatever your real name is (you naughty boy put your damn name up. I know its Ballos but how are other peoples gonna know?)
And (ever get your stuff mounted up?)

I try to keep my online real name footprint small. if its a problem delete me.

Test fit the suspenders and it looks OK. Haven't had time to work on it since the baby showed up. To add to the fun we bought a big ass warehouse at auction a week before he was born. We are still in the process of making it livable. We'll have about 100k square feet of space under roof, which is nice, but being cheap DIY types we have been doing a lot of the work ourselves to get it ready for move-in. If i skip sleeping i'll be running rally WV.

There is no moderation here. The real name thing hasn't caused anybody any problems, anybody who wants to waste time can dig a bit, why worry?
The location things is so people can get together in the sport since there's only 1 in a million in the whole country doing this..

Oh well.

Other people don't give a shit. I mean really, who cares, and why?

Some people want their privacy. Let them have it. Everyone knows who Keith and I are, and you, and we all still speak our minds.

Who the hell are you, anyway? Nobody knows ME, and I put up my full name. I have yet to become "KenBlockFamous". Or even merely Infamous.

Guess I'll have to work on that.....

The people actively working on their cars, going to rallies and trying to connect with human beings care.. You're doing none of those.

Warehouse is for the business not for living though i feel like i live here.

We bought the building at auction warts and all. shitty rust belt commercial real estate market + absolute auction made it affordable for us. We basically stole it. No way we could have afforded the place otherwise, but it was still a bit of a stretch.

10 years in business and the loan was still a huge bitch to obtain. Banks. Sheesh.
