if its for the shop i like file cabnits , you can organize them well, there dirt cheap at habitat for humanity , used office supply etc, . the good ones can literally hold a tone, and sometimes you can find the fire lined ones that are great for falamables.
not to metion i have 24"x 20'x 36' , 20'x18"x6' , 36'x 12"x 6" feet in shelving two 20' sections of palet racks, and a bunch more built in shelves. i hate stuff not being easy to access or find.


if its for in the car, sevice , etc . i like the metal versions of what the guys posted above,fastenal, grainger, etc. they can also be found as old emergency kits from army surplus , ammo cans work well for large or od stuff.
