Is the rear diff locked? If it is it wont pull from brakes at all. It doesnt know witch wheel is doing the braking it just knows your stopping. If itws open or lsd it would.

Got home and worked on the car.

I changed out the rear pads. Checked the caliper and the pistons seem to be ok. They go in and out fine with no oddly high force.

Put it back together and Mark took it for a spin while I followed closely behind.

I think my initial assessment was incorrect on which wheel was locking up. The other day when I was following directly behind him it looked like the right rear was locking, but in fact now I learned that the right front was. (optical illusion maybe)

Anyway, this time we drove down an abandon road with him driving in the opposing lane and I was off of the right rear. It's definitely the right front that is locking up. He drove it a few times and it consistently does it. We also switched sides and the left is not locking up.

So...
Should I replace the front pads?
Replace either the left or right rubber brake line?

Is the caliper bracket bent maybe? the uneven pad where is the sign! now to figure out why? Usally the pedal is lower then normal from the pads pushing away from the rotor. Maybe it trys to realign under heavy braking and over clamps binds?

Problem solved. thumbs up smiley smileys with beer

It is either the right front steel braided brake line or the brake pads. I changed both out. I'll inspect the brake line to see if that truly was the problem. Either way, it's fixed and the car stops great now.

The brake line looked a bit odd in one spot, so I decided to cut it in half.

So, can someone explain what is going on? The line still let brake fluid through (when I was bleeding the brakes), it wasn't totally closed off, maybe half way or so looking at the photo.
