New VW 020 4.2 ring and pinion. Ideal for rally, road race, ice racing, even squishing cones. Manufacturer claims good for 8v and 16v, first reports say you use an 8v 4th gear which are easy enough to find.
Save a bunch over the "Name brand" ring and pinions which are probably the exact same gears in a different box.
