1977 Capri MKII. Last of the European Capris. 2.8L V6, AT, Red,
Sunroof, Good straight, solid, no-rust body, Good Glass, Good Engine
and Trans, hatch back. Washington title and bill of sale from
previous owner. (Oregon title was never applied for. I am still in
contact with previous owner.) Salem, Oregon.
Car has had a dash fire caused by the blower motor. I was able to
extinguish the fire but not before it took the heater box and some
wiring with it.
I have sourced the heater box, blower motor and fan, a good used
wiring loom, and under-dash plastic ducting. Unfortunately both
heater cores that come with it are plugged or restricted so you'll
need a new core. All that's left is cleanup from extinguisher residue
and reassembly.
Car ran fine when the blower motor decided to light up. It does not
run now however because of the melted, under-dash wiring. It has been
sitting in my garage for over two years now and I need the space.
Fix it or part it out - you choose.
