The Merkur...
January 20, 2009 12:08PM
India had a profound effect on me in so many ways, but one thing it really made me realize was the other things I want to do with my life while I'm still young. That said, I've lowered the asking price of the Merkur to $11K. Tell all your friends. smiling smiley Comes with everything rally and car related I own that you want to take for the most part. I'll probably keep some basic tools, but most can go with the car.

So is 11K overpriced for this? I've had exactly one email and the guy said something along the line of, 'I'm only kinda interested in your car.'

A GC8 Subaru with a 2.5RS engine and driveline, STI stock suspension, team dynamic wheels, and WRX brakes sold for $7500 in like a week here in Denver. I don't care that it hasn't sold, I'm just surprised by the complete lack of interest. I guess it is a random, ugly car from the mid 80s. smiling smiley

I'd think about buying it if it *wasn't* a rally ready car.... I could use a new daily driver! smiling smiley

Dude... I'd be all over this if I had a job that paid enough... right now everything is going to pay the bills and put food on the table! Hopefully something comes up soon... then I'll be in touch!
