Thanks man..
Seems the main requirement for moderators is that that should never write a word of advice or do anything useful for the fiorum or the community..

I'm sending some stand offs and stuff today to go with the flywheel.
Piccies to follow.

Doood look at the sidebar thing! You're a MEGA MODERATOR!

How does this forum go on for years with no "Moderators" with only 2 guys needing "termination"?

Hey John, I haven't been able to confirm this on mine (I'll check tonight) but...

Sorry, I wish I could say that I were.. Also, the missing holes are in the wrong location, misses by 1/2"

Regarding the 60-2, there's made a terrible error, it is not 60-2 (58 holes w/ 2 holes missing), but 62-2 (60 holes), which renders this flywheel more or less useless!

How in the world can we solve this?

Holy shit.
Can't talk to the machinist who cut the holes till Monday, but there are already cars running with this from the first run.
It will be made right if these are in error.

Since there are cars now with them running, such as John McC in St. Louis then the first question is did they use the same CNC program---which we'd presume the did..

Same with the clocking...

Forward this if you would and I'm going to look at the sample---a flex plate left with them and some of the unsold ones...

I'll say frankly that I think the 60-2 on the flywheel is a pain in the ass system for anybody other than the original manufacturer----a nice easy access TDC senor aimed at the front pulley where a person can get at it and have some adjust-ability if needed seems to be a much more flexible system...

This does not bode well..

yeah I'll copy and post that up on TB. I'll check mine when I get home from work.

Personally I'm going to run a DSM CAS sensor inside the head mounted dizzy plate for my triggering needs. Seems to be a pretty cool setup.

Is this a non issue for those with a stand alone EMS?

Is it as easy as plugging in 62-2 vs. 60-2 or 58-2???

I don't understand?

Are there too many hole positions, or is the blank clocked improperly?

Mine was from the first round, and is now in the car, though I've not fired it.

JohnMC runs LH2.4 or did he just buy a flywheel with it..."just in case"???

Yeah PROBABLY

Yeas on most as far as I know, but I don't know what everybody is using especially the Norwegians.

Me either. I left the sample flex plate, we measured the with of the tooth and measured the gap and I made big deal about clocking it.

Well the holes aren't that important, its the TEETH the sensor senses and there are 59 teeth and then the solid bit...whatver its wrong.

Yeah that's the screwy thing, his was on and running 2 days after it arrived...

I'm pretty sure there's others running..

We'll figure it out, just gonna cost some handfuls of hair. And a bunch of money.

I don't need a clutch (or PP), just the flywheel.

Just posting this here, in case it'll help.

It's a stock flat flywheel that's had the LH2.4 cuts made...

Look at the blank spot, clocked, relative to the crank bolt holes.
