The interesting thing about this car is how easy it is to drive, OK the clutch is a little on off, but that is not a problem there is so much tq the wheels just spin. The power steering, the shifting, the brakes - everything is easy and well balanced. Drives around town just fine.

The car has massive power but it is not high strung twitchy power. My Golf was far harder to drive than the Volvo SPE is. RWD with a broad tq band is simple simple simple.

Derek

Derek you really should have her......... Give a call.

You'd embarrass everyone who runs against you in your second event.....

Oh wow... I'd *heard* of this thing, but never twigged to the fact that it was PRV powered... turbo PRV just always makes me think of all the various LeMans cars running it in the 80s and 90s. And possibly 70s.

Too bad I don't have $18k, or rallies in my area.

So the closest I came to a tire-kicker ran and hid when Canuckistan heard that my car is available and promptly changed their rules so that a 37 year old car wouldn't be able to absolutely embarrass the big gunzzzz cuz we aren't really seeing how fast we can go on gravel up there..... It is apparently going to be a parade via identical soda straws and anti-lag.

Hee-hee!

She's still available for adoption.

Now with a Holset for a turbo.

No one would deny your car is faster then all get out.

But it's the crazy man behind the wheel that really pedals that thing to the speeds that it can do.

even in Tiny you scare people.

wish i had the money to adopt her, but I still think you should keep it. because who really would be able to live up to the John Lane legend.

Like we see in your Sig line....

I have that itch too.... Having the poor gurl sitting there unloved since mostly fixing the body damage in 2009 pains me. That Jerico is fresh.... Sellholm goodness has just a full season on it...

I would really love to be abusing her in the woods.... Giving the spectators the show that everyone loves.... This shit with struggling to keep the lights on really sucks!

Just have to make a bunch of dough.

Mebbe if I were to load Tiny to the gills with and deliver it.... Noooo....

Not a clue... Certainly there are those who do.

She's too damned fast for you fellers down under.

Would three liters and a turbo fit into your rules?

Up to 6lt is allowed so with 3lt X 1.7 turbo factor it's good to go! If it's a factory turbo.

But, one of our regional series allows basically run what you brung. Leyland V8 powered early Nissan skyline is a crowd favorite

Since February she's been given a Holset turbo with bigger intake plumbing to go along with.... 3500-6500 is just that much more amusing!

I've reassembled the tin in the nose, the intercooler is back in and she can be used to paint stripe....

Still a thousand details to attend to.... I still lack money and time for her.

John if you still have this thing and you still honestly want to get rid of it when I'm done with school, we will need to talk. Fortunately you have some time to change your mind. smiling smiley

Well life isn't getting any better for me and not a one real bite for the Volvo.

I've torn up a pair of rear tires painting stripe in the area since fitting the Holset... She really goes like hell.

More details to attend to but it is all easy stuff for someone else to handle as I'm done.

Who wants her? I'll deliver in Wa, Or, Id or further if you help with diesel.

She will come with everything that goes along with her. Tiny will be full.

We'll take her, fly out and drive her to the east coast on an adventure . . ..

For the right price... I'll take her.

I didn't see you offering to bring her to BC though?

Hell I'll even take you out to the restaurant of your choice in Vancouver!
