On a re-read, it looks (to me, perhaps to others) as if I were mocking that Anders might (or might not) have a Wife - that was not the case at all. Not at all.

I was mocking that the CAT "belongs" to The Wife.

It is alright Anders; it does not make one any less Manly to be a "Cat Guy".

Just look at Dr. Evil.

(Unless you have like 9 of them. Then one may be getting into the "weird zone"winking smiley

(I personally drew the line at two, with The Wife. The furniture and carpet is destroyed fairly well-enough, with that number...)

Ha!

Non taken Creech. Didn't even cross my mind. However, you win the internet for today for proactive engagement. smiling smiley

And any male or female is fine to like cats. It's just that **I** don't. No use for them. Sure, they can be cute, but I don't think they're worth the trouble.

Amy wanted one, and said "Oh, can we get a cat?????" and I said "YOU can get a cat." winking smiley

My wife has 2 cats. I feed them, when I have to.
We always think cats are stupid! Well, I realized the other day while sitting in my dentist office, they're not a stupid as fish. Fish accomplish nothing, but waste their energy swimming around all the time. At least cats are smart enough to not waste their energy (most of the time). They sleep, and eat, and sleep, and eat, and once in a while run around.

i had a tree all done up with the star wars/trek finery, about an hour later sitting on the couch with a cool refreshing libation i watched the cat one ornament at a time remove each and every last bit of star wars/trek finery giving it a good once over then dropping it to the floor. shortly there after the cat set up residence about halfway up the tree.

a cats head makes a great ornament, and will freak out a drunk party goer when it blinks or yawns

Tell me about it. You should see the stains left-behind (non-blood) after you give one a GUN for a Birthday Present.

Indoor cats are worst. As I used to say, how's it supposed to get hit by a car if it never goes outside?

Oh, this is still about cats. Got it.

Glad I didn't say anything about carpets being as rough on a husband's knees as the wife is on the carpet. That could have been embarrassing.

Whenever the trolls come out to play, I just think of this bit by probably stolen from Bill Hicks a famous Masshole:

Everybody has their own idea of the best way to rally. JVAB says it's get a Volvo or XR4 and build cheap, others say slap a cage in a new Fiesta, others say raid their trust funds and build a blue Subie. There isn't one correct answer, but shit, damn, can't we all just get along?

Morison and Evo guy in Iowa, stop baiting JV, you know the result. JV, when you see Morison and/or Evo guy in Iowa (and/or others) chum in the water, swim the other way. Don't take the damn bait.

Or at the very least, stop and think and write a response that won't get you sent to the principal's office.

Not everything is a personal attack. Stop and think before you hit the Post Message button. Sometimes the best course of action is to Shut The Fuck Up!

speaking of cats, i have rats, and have been considering holding hostage these two strays in my neighborhood in the crawl space until they terminate said rats with extreme prejudice.
