Could it be the friendly atmosphere, the multi-manufacter involvement, TV, competitor involvement in rule making and hassle-free media access so teams can get pics of their cars racing? I had to rule out the Canadian beer because Budweiser was served at the awards ceremony.

and Canadian beer is overrated Otherwise it sounds like they area doing things right.
