There was, but as far as anybody can tell, he went broke and disappeared.
There is one guy who builds good suspension and has built three 4G62 motors for guys and made some restrictors....but I can't think of his name just now...everybody uses names here but it slips my mind..names names....

What Evo?

Would like to get some maintenance done on it.
Prefer to get someone knowledgeable about the car.

Cascade Autosport. Pete. Don't recall his name on here.
Probably most successful Evo rally builder in the west. Dedo, Ramana Lageman's X Games car, and probably a ton others.
Evo 7? Like an import? Ron Nelson here local to me here in Denver also has one. Evo 7 RS. He's not on here though.

Their website is gone.

I saw, and chatted with, Pete at Oregon Trail so he's still around. We even talked about him crewing for someone I know. If he's closed the 'store front' that doesn't mean he's disappeared or stopped prepping cars.

Remember, just because someone works out of their home that doesn't always mean they are shady or sketchy.

I work at LBR Auto in Bellevue, and could easily handle maintenance on your car. We are not a race shop, so no prep work. I am master tech, 20 years experience, and a rally guy too!

English Racing is also in the NW, a few hours from Seattle but one of the best shops in the world for the platform. There reputation speaks for its self.

Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable distance to drive for an oil change on a car. Forget Sean, forget Robert, how could they possibly know how to pull the drain plug and open the cap in the valve cover?, those fools!eye rolling smiley

Taking a car that far for service is going to be full of issues.
I know someone who took a car 150 miles to a 'globally recognised' expert on that type of car for an engine rebuild. It ended up being many MANY trips before the car was actually finished. Eventually the engine was redone by someone local to the owner and it (finally) runs reliably.
The whos and wheres don't matter, as this isn't an uncommon story. Dealing local has significant advantages.

Of course 'maintenence' is a broad description, but certainly there are certain things about a specific car that familiarity will make easier.
