Sorry, sorry. Just can't take this much longer.

It would be a huge mistake to miss the opportunity to have your car worked on by Sean Medcroft. Something about aircraft certified, built the cleanest rallycar in town, works in a shop that speciallizes in hi performance. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Robert is top notch, too.

Billyee, he's incapable/afraid of change... just let him run himself into the ground.

FUCKING ASS! Timm, read your own gaddam sig, it takes two to tango, and you are the one who keeps doing jazz hands.

Well, then, I fixed it for you.

And I completely agree with what you said about Sean. If ever need a tune though, definitely head down to English.

Unless you're referring to Timmy, Morison, and the others who didn't help the guy but are here whining and crying...
Um... I helped.

I found the guy Pete VanBogart's username and 'profile pages' on this site, a site he's been active on within the past month. Pete has a TON of experience with Evos and would be a good guy to support. (Not taking away from anyone else.)

In fact it was immediately following that link that the guy commented about the forum being helpful! It's true that I don't know a lot about the Seattle scene, but I was just backing up Grant's suggestion of Pete in the first place.

Now someone should consider that even though the OP is looking for minor maintainance the suggestions of Pete, English and Irby are very valid. Not taking anything away from Sean or Robert but having a specialist or very astute brand oriented mechanic look at a racecar has some advatages. They might spot something out of the ordinary, they likely know the trouble areas and may head off future issues. So still a good suggestion even tho the distance is a bit more. Now the OP also has some suggestions of where to look for help if something more serious crops up.

In the rally world traveling a hundred or two miles to get a car worked on shouldn't be considered out of the realm of possiblities.

Probably one of the reasons we dont see too many rally teams from Kansas is the distance thing...

Multiple states and multiple hours are two different things, lol.

Besides, no one is saying he HAS to go that far, just offering suggestions.

I promised myself I wouldn't get into an of this knicker-twisting, but I can't help it.

"The rules here are just for shits and giggles." what rules are you talking about, the one rule that you have to post your real name?

Alas, that isn't the 'one' rule.

from the 'rules'

"That's not to say there aren't any rules here. On the contrary, one sure fire way to get booted is to act consistently stupid or take personal attacks too far. Another is to whine or bullshit incessantly without contributing either knowledge or humour to the discussion. Any malicious quoting out of context to seriously deceive (rather than just poke some fun and obviously josh around) is grounds for ass kicking. Ditto on posts complaining about spelling or grammatical errors. If you are convicted by a jury of your peers, you may be sent to the Sin Bin for detention."

Hey did you know we have a rule around here about full names and locations?
As was pointed out to me recently:
an.ar.chy
Noun:
1. A state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.

I say we all strip our real names and locations until such time JVL learns to play nice.

This is comedy gold. It'll never happen, of course...

I'm always happy to help.
Here's the short, easy to understand version.

In a recent thread the community was asked if they wanted the rule on personal attacks clarified so that it was defined and enforceable. The response was not only 69% against a rule change but there were several strong comments suggesting 'rules' had no place in anarchy.

Well Al...I'd say we'll try and get you up to speed, but considering what you rally that would be just mean smiling bouncing smiley

Everyone is stressed out over the pending TomKat divorce and that is being reflected in the acting up on here.
