Mike Irby might, not Seattle but way closer than English. 20 miles west of Olympia. Extensive Mitsu background for many years, built and maintained Damitios Talon, crews for Jardevall and ACP .

PM me your phone number if you like and I can pass it on.

English Racing is also in the NW, a few hours from Seattle but one of the best shops in the world for the platform. There reputation speaks for its self.

Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable distance to drive for an oil change on a car. Forget Sean, forget Robert, how could they possibly know how to pull the drain plug and open the cap in the valve cover?, those fools!eye rolling smiley

Motor and tranny builds are a bit different from an oil change. Sorry for trying to help someone out. Maybe you need to get off your high horse and stop being a dick to everyone. It gets really really old. Do you have any idea how much of your market you alienate by your poor attitude?

I wasn't a dick to everybody. I sent the guy a PM and asked what kind of car and what kind of work he needed.

Did you?
He said "
Quote

Actually, I got a Evo6 which probably needs some maintenance.
Gear box oil, AYC oil, tachmeter and maybe a small suspension fixup.
Are u able to do that or know someone reliable who can? "

And people perfectly capable answered. Local people, people we know and know what they can do...

That's helping the person.
If I alienate somebody who gets butt hurt and starts pouting because they suggest something really quite extraordinarily silly, and I answer silly with silly, then I don't want to have to deal with them..

How did you actually help him? Why are you complaining?

You know there is this weird tendency for people to mystify things at long distance and sometimes good advice is found a long way away, but as is always the case, the first thing is to ask what a person needs, who they are, what the intention is, then offer advice..

That's no high horse, it's not a dick attitude. in fact people that offer useless advice shows a worse attitude. They "know" and suggest things before they even bother to ask..

You can apologize if you'd like for not helping the guy and bitching me out for actually helping him. Unless you're horse is too high to climb down off of.

Wrong as usual little Timmothy..
Must be frightening to be wrong on so many things in so many areas so frequently...

Try reading again.

Again isn't that hard to read.

How about something more challenging?

When you've shown you can get simple ideas, then we'll try some more complex ones..
Until then, keep trolling.

Hey did you know we have a rule around here about full names and locations?

See? Seems you can't grasp what that means and its pretty simple.

As was pointed out to me recently:
an.ar.chy
Noun:
1. A state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.

I say we all strip our real names and locations until such time JVL learns to play nice.

I know how to play nice with reasonably well adjusted adults.. but never have with spoiled whining people....

At this point , its clear you point is soley to make a point.
Timmays point is clear, nothing to contribute in any for except complaints.
Lane--nothing for years and just some random "attaboys".

It works like this folks, I'll answer you in the tone you answer others...
Offense depends on a point of view.

Thus I find contentless shotgun "answers' offensive"

I find complaining about spelling and grammar offensive.

And relentless repetition of tired, false, "party line" answers type "get a slow car and learn to drive", I find offensive.

Some of you find responses to such brainlessness offensive...
Some, in acts of theatrical corn, pretend they have never had their 'ears' or 'eyes (I guess?) soiled by "such language"..

I say platitudes and conventiality are equally offensive.
Facades and artifice are offensive.

Suggesting that a person who needs an oil change drive 178 miles--or whatever--- without bothering to ask the OP what he needed or wanted---IS OFFENSIVE,.

Not much so he gets a tiny bit of sarcasm in response..
Did he realize how silly his suggestion was? We'll never know because a few of you are on the warpath to make a point--and you guys don't care about the OP getting his Evo's oil changed, or the silliness of whassisduff Billy answer.

And he himself, weeping bitter tears....I'm a meanie..

Yet I wrote the guy and suggested a couple of fully competent places LOCAL .

Asked already: did any of you complainers?

It's pitiful really.

No, the OP got good answers both in the thread and in PMs.

Unless you're referring to Timmy, Morison, and the others who didn't help the guy but are here whining and crying...
yes their whining and crying really should stop.
