I've seen/had those springy hose clips rust out and fail, never happens with a SS hose clamp. Rust belt I guess. Each to their own preferences...

There didn't really seem to be a good way to reroute them sad smiley

They're my 2nd most important thing to protect though, 1st being the sump. (no one cares about the passengers? No.... grinning smiley )

Just got back from an interview, perhaps I'll be carpentering again, and perhaps Olympus... we'll see, I suppose. It seemed to go well.

Well Dave...it is a picture of a dusty white Toyota shell mounted on a wooden display stand...reminds me of the old Chris Craft boat we have on the fireplace mantel.

Then there is a pic of a hammer that Timm wacks his pe..er I mean thumb with.

And lastly photos of a flat black device that looks vaguely like a heat exchanger for an old wood stove.

Sorry Timm...smoochies...smiling bouncing smiley

My uncle has a few of those. At least one on the water. It's pretty damn cool. 1929 and all mahagony. Averages about 50 hours a year on the water in Wyo and complete strip down and revarnish every other year.

Nice... Things will work nice with those in there...

Chris Craft is a boat manufacturer.. back in the day they made real nice wodden boats. Nowdays they make reasonable fiberglass boats.
