Funny story: JVL called Saturday to see if I was doing okay and to give me a few driving pointers. "Bring some friends with you in case you get stuck when you're on those gravel roads. You don't wanna be in a ditch 40 miles from home." "Right."

So I hit a barbed wire fence 1 1/2 miles from home.

I was on my favorite road and it was nothing but slush and mud so I decided to only go about 45. Then there was a L3- and I initiated, but was coming in a little hot and it being FWD, it just went straight. My neighbor pulled me out and we shared some lulz.

RE: Taking a buddy with you- funny- I wore a 100AW shirt in to work once when the boss from out of town was in. He was like - Oh I love 100AW, etc. (This was strange, as it was completely unexpected...) So, we talked at length - turned out, he was a PNW'er who used to enter DooWops and such in the mid 90s - in a RealWheelDrive car too... He told me some stories of him and his buddies setting up makeshift special stages at night in the forest and actually doing 'course cars', sweeping, and using radios and such to make sure it was "safe", etc. They definitely needed some tows apparently, and on more than one occasion, were real glad they had a few buddies around... Sounded like a blast...

Hah. I have a beat up gray Tore-ass, too. Been wondering if there were any Ford perfomance parts that would fit them...

I saw some "Type R" stickers on ebay that said they would work on a tore-ass...

Nice. Stickers add the most power. The R stands for awesome.

I also have an "Umbrella" (Resident Evil) decal on the back glass, and a couple of "Shining Monkey" contingency decals left on the car from RallyX Nats. Strangely enough, that's the cleanest place on the car right now.....

(think any of those are worth a few HP?)

HAHAAH I love the "No Problem" "Problem" sticker. The ideas been around for ever, but that's pretty sweet.
