No problem Danny, As I said, use the Passat arms and MK3 CVs (I have never seen mk3 90mm CVs in the US) and go --- sorry for including confusing pics of two different arms, the first was from a quick google image search. No one runs the front ARB for rally anyway but it will bolt right up to the Passat arms while the mk3 arms as you noted have a different attachment point.

Oi here's what all you Golf pervs need to see. From that contry where they're all upside down:
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="

?hl=en_US&amp;version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param>

There's even some Honda rally car content at 31.43.

Toyally, like, awesome.

So, overall...there is an advantage to use VR6 widetrack setup over stock '86 GTI setup. Correct?

- balljoint position
- wider control arms
- larger wheel bearings
- heavier duty axles and cv joints

Questions concerning the swap:
1.) Mk2 or Mk3 steering rack? What tie rods to use?

2.) The wider track will cause more camber, correct? Will the top pin, thats threaded, fit into the strut mount ok? During suspension travel, will it cause extra stress on the bearing/strut mount?
