So I am feeling nervous that I am just one of two that are not asking for the 60-2. I am planning on running Lh2.2. on a B23 block. 60-2 is only for 2.4 with the head mounted dizzy, correct?

Would I need the 60-2 in the future if I went with standalone? would I be able to run 2.2 with the 60-2 holes?

volvo LH2.4 uses the 60-2 for the crank signal, and it uses a head mount dizzy on a 740 and a block mount on 240.

you can't run LH.2.2 off of a 60-2 signal, it uses a 4 window hall effect in the dizzy. it would not hurt anything to have the 60-2 flywheel for EFI upgades down the road. with the b23 block you will have to do some machining to mount the factory sensor bracket to the block, or weld a mount to the bellhousing for it.

trigger signals for standalone EFI systems varies. electramotive is only setup to use 60-2 for the crank signal, were other sytems can be configured for 4 window hall efect, 36-1, etc. if you go to a sequential setup you will also need a cam signal, there arn't any factory options for this if you have a 240. if you have a 740 a 2.2 740 dizzy can be modified by cutting off 3 of the 4 tabs on the tone wheel. there are other options for crank and cam signals aswell. there is a DSM cas adapter that goes were the block mounted dizzy goes (it can be used for both crank and cam signal). there are also edis trigger ring (36-1) adapers for the crank pulley . you could also fab up sensors to work of of the cam gear, crank pulley and/or flywheel with magnetic sensors.
