Guys don't respond seriously I'm not crying in a corner over here, just do me a favor and let this thread die, I'm not posting again. For the record, I've done everything I've ever wanted to, did you not read my bio? I did NOT write my own bio by the way, lol I've owned every car I've ever wanted, raced every car and boat I've ever wanted, I've worked hard played hard, lived life. I suggest you do the same stop hating on others.
I'll do my best to respect your opinion and try to see it from your angle. And to learn from your mistakes John. This will be my last post, I'm only sorry we can't all just keep positive and all just do our own version of "proper rally" working together for the cause of the sport and not against it by fighting with one another aimlessly. FRIENDS: PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS THREAD We're posting awesome footage on FB, very busy! Race tomorrow and shits getting real Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 09/12/2014 10:15AM by brakim. |

You ask a question the immediately say DON'T RESPOND.. Again, not very bright are you? No I didn't read YOUR bio, why would I? You write hype, and content-less empty shit. You've bragged about the important---the superficial things. I did read a real interesting blog post which has to be about you from a guy who says he worked for you way back in your drop-out days... unless it was another Matt with the same spelling and same town, same modus operandi It seems to fit and its a real sad tale--so common, so predictable. Good Lord JVL! You cannot fathom the immensity of the care most people do not give that your vision of rally racing is not followed. If Matt wishes to spend his money, or a sponsor of his wishes to spend their money to brag on Brakim Racing, who are you question their plans? Not everyone has aspirations to rally or ride motorcycles in Europe and suffer in quiet dignity while doing it.
And as for what any team wishes to rally, well unless you have time, money or parts into it, then it is not your circus, nor your monkeys. I look forward to seeing a Lambo on gravel. That should be a hoot. It is useless for the sheep to pass resolutions in favour of vegetarianism, while the wolf remains of a different opinion. William Ralph Inge TANSTAAFL |

Good lord Lee. Of course any person can spend theirs money--or the people they BS into giving them money---any way they want. Doesn't mean I have to be impressed with it... I've never been impressed with hype and "promotion". And especially so when the hype and "promotion" is THE CENTRAL THING. If you are impressed with hype and shiny gee-gaws and foofery, oh well. I'm glad I have broader horisons and perspectives--and that I've been blessed with the ability to see good driving, good riding--hype free. I do sometimes wonder when you guys who rant about "anybody can spend their money any way they want" don't think...all spending is exactly morally the same? This thread... it was a matter of time. With this... yay so awesum ughhh I dont know if I wanna jerk off or throw up!
Matt, John does belong to this forum, he probably has the most "tribal" knowledge of all the peeps around here. In fact you'd benefit a ton more from him than some of the self proclaimed expurts that approach you. That being said, JV is, as usual guns blazing, throw in the face you're not worthy, because you have to prove yourself in mano a mano dog fight to earn street cred. To understand him you need to realize he hates the waste of precious resources that can be applied to improving yourself. Same goes with spending copious amounts on parts that will only improve performance by .2% when you can get pretty damn close with 1/3 of the price. Brakes, dampers, boxes, engines, etc.... John, c'mon ese we all know you got x-ray vision and can see things but no need to be hatin on the player, hate the game. Rally in ahmerika is not normal, its either the very clubie types that stay around for 10-20 years or the yay look at me attention cheerleaders that only last 5 years. Dont be too hard on Matt at least he's spending his $$$ running events and not doing drugs or whatever. He's a cool guy and we like to poke him from time to time. Only way to make it in murikan rally |

Strange, I see Brandenberg when I see this image... and Timmah too... You know, go out and rally, fuck the self promotion, I have no fuckin' idea who you are, and don't really give a shit. Maybe if someone else told me about you, I might have a clue. Otherwise, STFU and race... SteveL This is the point in the killing spree when you really should turn the gun on yourself |

I'm fairly certain that Brakim Racing is at a hillclimb this weekend. Chasing the Dragon if I'm not mistaken. What are the rest of us doing this weekend? Probably not that. We're doing a 12 hour enduro with World Racing League. Many other friends are a few miles away at last gravel hill climb event of year. Few others drove to rallycross nationals in Nebraska. Grant Hughes |

I won't be racing this weekend, might be next weekend, it depends on how this afternoons dyno session goes... Then again, I may just play with the bosses '31 Model A, or start the assembly of his '54 Fiat Topolino...
