No racing for me, but should be up there servicing for a vw golf.

Who knows on snow... I'm gonna say yes. It's been pretty cold, and we've already had snow once that seemed to stick longer than expected.

Now whether we'll get the stupid dump we got last year that ended up being packed down into a super icy base... we'll see.

I am hoping for another stupid dump getting packed down into a super icy base.
I just need bigger, firmer snow banks. ;-)

Just reading the supps reminds me that the TP organizers are putting a lot of good work into the event. Thanks!

I am more psyched than usual and actually jacked up the car and started looking at what I need to fix before the event.

I will be there. Just have to replace the clutch, a damaged 1st gear in the transmission, and get my snow tires mounted on rims. Hopefully the roads are less icy this year.

Entry should be submitted tonight or tomorrow.

I doubt very highly that we'll have big snowbanks. Areas about 1.5-2h to the East of Bancroft are calling for a dump of 15cm, and some high elevation areas might get 30cm.

But, it'll probably all melt in mid november.

Who knows though... it's generally been a cooler summer and fall, and we've had a lot of moisture so far between summer and fall. It might just stick around and accumulate.

In other news... the wife has approved the plan... We put her through medical school (or some other well paying profession), then I become a stay-at-home dad, I can open a shop to fabricate cages and stuff, and rally to my heart's content. So... just wait... 7-9 years and counting...

Ya mean like tracking numbers?
Just the normal custtom numbers they use on Priority parcels.

I'll email it soon.

Twas sent on the 22nd.
I included a install tool BUT you guys will need to add a nice bar to get the depth which you should mark with a line to give you a point to stop for the lower bush.

The big principle is we want full engagement of both bushes so loose assemble, mark the insert, pull it out and see where it hits, that's where the bottom bush goes, you'll see.

What are gas prices like in Canada these days? Anyone know? They are falling like a rock here in Oh. I am trying to figure out if it is cheaper to drive through Detroit and thus spend more time on Canadian Roads or Buffalo and more time in the states.

In my experience, petrol has always been more expensive in Canada. Beer, too.

I'd love to go. The good prices for US entry (which includes recce/notes), close drive from Detroit area, and accepting of RA license so I don't need to get a new one is sweet.

However, my co-driver probably won't be able to get time off work, and I don't have any snow tires. Plus I still need to swap out my trans to my spare since 3rd gear went kaput after the last stage of LSPR.

Hopefully next year!
