I paid $0.99/l for premium today, works out to $3.09 USD per US gallon.

Regular was $0.89/l or $2.77 USD per US gallon.

Prices fluctuate wildly over here though, as much as 10 cents/l (32 cents US/gal) for gas stations within blocks of each other.

OTOH, the coffee at Canadian Timmies kicks US Timmies or Dunkin Donuts ass -- Starbucks sucks equally on both sides of the border, YMMV.

We'll be there but not with the XR. No money left after doing Targa again. Hopefull try to get a start on the new season in '09 if all goes well.

As Ted pointed out we'll be there!

Not sure if I want snow or not... all my snow/ice tires are worn out, but then so are my gravels :-) I'd love to get A034's but $235/tire ... fer fucks sake!

I started work on the car last week.. unloaded it from the trailer after Defi!
yesterday me an dteh girls pulled the front suspenders. Today I straightened inserts and tried to free up spring perches... Then called John for new ones!

Can't wait for Pines, whatever the weather!

-Martin.

I am going to put some bent strut inserts in a press, tonight, myself. Coincidence, I think not! ;-)

Snow is an equalizer. The big boys can't put down the big power, if there is no traction. But who will stuff it, wicked hahd?

I don't know how anyone can drive rear drive in the snow, but I've seen others do it well. Best of luck, whatever weather comes.

Greg and I should be there. Whether we'll be running the Z or just hanging out remains to be seen.

It's on there, but Greg doesn't want to run it if it snows as he's worried that that fine 30 year old Japanese steel will rust to nothing before we get it off the trailer. :-)

Get a garden sprayer, fill it with used motor oil, thin it down with something toxic (that can of stale gas that's been hanging around) so it will spray, and hose down the underneath of everything. And get moving before it drips all over yer own property.

Post rally, get a bunch of cans of cheap chain lube and hose it again before you tow.

Rename the Z, the Exxon-Vadez.

Be sure and tell Greg, but not the TP tech guys, it was my idea.

Remember you have to buy a Canadian permit even though your license is good. Which is $50 and good for the calendar year so if you just goto pines it is only good for one event.

Yeah, buts its only $50. RA National licenses are calendar year also and cost $200 for just LSPR.

Try to borrow an enclosed trailer. Great to service outta in cold weather. Tall Pines sweep is awesome but if you needed to retrieve the Z from the deep woods, sure you could borrow a open trailer to get it.

We don't have a room but we have a family suite at the motel we stayed at last year. It has 4 beds and 2 pull out couches and there is only 3 of us staying there now. Let me know if you are interested.

I think Pat richard will be on a mission to win as well. He has clinched the CRC, but never won TP.
