Do more people in Canada drive on dirt / gravel roads as part of normal life activies?
Probably hard to say. But I'd say yes, for sure, if you asked about snow and ice.

CARS does sell seperate driver/nav licences.
Not really. The only time a 'co-driver' license is issued is when there are restrictions that wouldn't allow the competitor to drive.

Terry Epp stated that there were just over 400 unique drivers last year
I beleive the number is 430(ish) unique entries to events. (across 17 events last year)
In 2011 there were about 285 CARS License holders.

XGames in DC/NoVA. Plenty of EXTREEEEME obstacles with 1.5m people without power (downed trees, power lines, etc).

Challenge is having enough gas.

Maybe a mini cannonball. Who can get from NE to Manasses as fast as possible? (Would be a good test under normal operating conditions too!)

Oh dang why din't I sink of that? Always said you were a bright soul, Andrew.

That sounds like a plan since I get along with corporate types and people regurgitating the obvious so well.

So who are the New Corporate Overlords? What else they do?

Hmmm, the new overlords are autoguide.com, which is part of the verticalgrope....err...verticalscope.com family of forums.

It could be worse, they do own some decent sites I visit, but I do like the idea of having this site which is hosted on a 386 in Skye's mom's basement, right? grinning smiley

It may be wrapped in oilskins in a sod roofed hut in the high prairie a little North of Merritt in central Okanagan Valley in BC.

I read about SS being sold. SS was okay, but Rally-L was better (just my opinion).

Are you kidding about Rally Anarchy? Someone on SS suggested that the purchaser of SS would try to eliminate Rally Anarchy.

Maybe if somebody wrote Skye a seven-figure check...otherwise what are they going to do? Dig through the permafrost in the Yukon to find the Vic-20 server farm?
