No worries. Car-part.com showed an 89 core down in Tucson, so I called them up to get a price on it. Turns out it was also for a 94! (Bastids!)

A couple buddies of mine found them local to them... in SC and ME. I'm going to see how a couple bills play out (might pay off a couple credit cards) first half of this month, but then I'll probably see about having one of my buddies out east snatch one up and put it on a bus out here for me.

There is hope!

Called the yard in Chino Valley up here they "say" they think they have one around the 89 year ..My hook up was not there ..So I'll call back ..But if its there you got about two to three weeks max ..There going to crush ..The yard owner is the same owner the owns the yard in PV here..And told me about the crush to get what I need now ...Keep tune to this channel for update...

I'm being "told" theres a some sort of Gaylant of the year your after ..I keep getting some kid who will not get off his ass and walk a 100 yard to look ..My buddy Troy is gone for two weeks he runs the place ..So I'm going to have to drive out there and look ...Kids these days are (can) just be fucked up .. The kid said the cars all there and $250.00 for the nose .. No clue the shape or shit about it .. It would be nice if the kid would go look ...I've have Troy tair him a new ass when he gets back .. I can't get out there tell next week .. Your new to this junk yard thing I see ...You never can trust the phone info untill you get to the yard and see the parts ..The car could be a damn Buick and the kid thinks its a Mitsu...So will see.. I'll let you know ...I would think $250.00 would be a real good price .. If the parts are good .. I wish the punk kid would go look if the core is good or if the cars been wreck at one time .. But I'll have to go see..

Now do we know if shit box FWD parts is the same as your studly AWD car..??

The nose of any 89-93 Gaylant should be a perfect fit. He's talking $250 for the whole front clip, then? If that's the case, steal! Otherwise, I'm seeing core supports for $100 online. (They're just a few states away!)

And yes, I am new to the calling junkyards thing. A yard in Wichita spoiled me back in the day. They had all the cars organized by make. Toyota/Lexus over here, Mitsubishi/Eagle over there, etc. No charge to get in and wander and it was pretty easy to find what you need. All the yards I've been to down here seem disinterested in selling parts. They want to charge you an entry fee, then there's no rhyme or reason to the layout. You'll find a DSM between a Silverado and an old Grumman ice cream van. Pffft.

Let me know what you think, man. If it's good to go, we'll make it happen, imo.

"they had all the cars organized" ... ROTFL... Boy not up here .. But that would take all the fun out of it.. LOL... I'm sure the yards in the valley charge to get in that sucks ... There making so much on crushed cars they do not have to sell parts ...We have three yard up here ..One is a bunch of Bozo's wth crazy prices ..And will sell you bad motors and trans and not even check if there bad ... The other two are owner by a real good guy ..Who moves the parts out the door so the prices are good .. He's real good to me..

They were open today so I took a ride out there ...The front end is REAL good.. The fronts never been hit I could see..The cars date was 12/89..it white .. ....

I did not ask on number$...That balls in your court ..Keep me out of that end ..But theres the parts you need up here ... Let me know ...

Wow. You mentioned $250 before. Was that for the front clip, fenders, hood, and all? If so, that's a steal and I will have to get to work buttering up the missus to make it happen. Shit. If it's complete with fenders, hood, lights, radiator and bumper, I could have 195/2000 on the road next weekend!

Holy shit. What's the next step? Should I call these guys?

I said front chip ...He ask the motor to... I said no ... I'll call on monday ..The kid seems like he has a adtitude..Maybe my budy will be back on monday...They will put this car in the crush stack and dick up the metal real soon here .. So do not wate...This yard is not about moving car parts its about moving metal...The yard is 20 miles north of me so I can't go back out there at the price of gas....
