I'm sure there's others, those are just the ones I know off the top of my head. |

Gosh damnit, now I've got to clean the soda off my desk. I wonder if there is a market running the chicken strips off tires for new sport bike owners. |

Has anyone tried out the different brands of wheels? They are all similar in price so i'm wondering if there's any difference in quality.
Braid: Winrace T acropolis weighs in at 22.2 (i'm guessing pounds? They don't specify on the site) Does anyone have any recorded weights for any of these wheels? - Team Dynamic Pro Rally - Speedline 2118s - Enkei rc-g4 On a similar subject, I see silverstone tires is out of business. DMack seems to have taken their place, any reviews on their gravel tires? I am also looking for a distributor for the Hankook gravel tires (if they still exist), and any other new manufactures that have popped up. Thanks for all the info guys, I really appreciate it. Hankook no longer exists. Lassa was importing tires for a while but they are gone now. It looks like Dmack, Michelin, Pirelli, and Yokohama are the only tire brands still available.
Only data point I can offer is the Team dynamics rally-1 rims which I have on my focus and they have been a good rim only bent one when I hit a rock and broke a front strut in half otherwise they have worked well. I have a bare one in the garage I will see if I can get a weight this weekend. |

Who here has ran both the Yokohama and Dmack tires, I would love to get some feedback on both.

Either are good tires. My guess would be Chris Martin might be only person who's run both and he's the Canadian distributor for Dmack now. But Antoine Lestage won STPR on Yokohamas so really that's the only tire to choose since you are going to win right? Not sure what tires Hanson, Ramana, or Lauchlin are running these days. Whichever has the compound you need is the tire to go with. Neither likely deliver a competitive advantage over the other. Grant Hughes |

I weighed my team dynamics Pro Rally 1 wheels that 15X6. I weighed two of them and they averaged to 17 lbs 5.5oz.
Edit: The scale I used in the one that my wife uses to weigh our baby so I think the acuracy is pretty good. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/09/2012 12:18PM by Andrew_Frick. |

Disagree. The A053 is a good tire. The A035 is a bottom end of mediocre tire, and the A035E is an OK tire. Plus, I haven't actually saw anybody but the big boys (Pat and Antoine) run A053's, just like when A035E's came out, they weren't available to the regular schmoes. Considering an A053 is something like $250 a tire up here in 205/65R15 size, I'll take the DMacks at $189 a pop... plus DMack has contingency money (not much, but with how inexpensive the initial purchase is plus the contingency, you basically get one free tire out of every 5 compared to almost anything else on the market). |

Yes I have run both! Yes we (OSM) are the Canadian DMACK distributor... Adam's review just above is IMHO right on the money, and really echo my personal findings as well. The one big thing we have found with the DMACK's is durability. We have had alot of people destroy wheels, both big name RALLY wheels, OEM Alloys, and Steelies. Most if not all the tires still held all air, and have already run more stages and events after being transfered to new wheels! I have a bunch of photos that will surprise you.
