SCCA RallyCross courses vary wildly from region to region.

Here's one of our slow and tight courses...

And a generally faster open course...

Head West my friend...

Tim! This is TDI Tim right? It was dissapointingly narrow, Im glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I heard someone say some parts were too wide during the event confused smiley

Yup, it's me. It wasn't until after the rallyX that I realized this was your build thread. smiling smiley

Who thought it was too wide? I can understand wanting some narrow parts, not all stage rally forest roads have infinite width, but if you take a corner wide, it costs you time so you learn to get tighter. At least you can actually learn to control the car in the corner that way.

If I can't slide the car sideways in a safe place like a rallyX, I will never learn how to read the surface and know *before* I go wide how to properly negotiate the turn when going wide *isn't* an option.

Tim.

Hey bob where's the yellow lightning!? I didn't really find it all too narrow. Even with my super grippin all-weather tires sending me all over. Hope those guys set up another soon. I sent you those Volvo guys check em out.
Those videos from Ohio look like good fun.

I'll not name names on who said it was too wide... Also I can't quite remember who it was.

Those videos, both of them, look like great fun. The second video actually has a proper hairpin and everything, with good speed into and out of it, looks excellent.

I dont want to turn this into too much bellyaching, I know it may sound as If I am. The PSCC guys are doing well with what they have, and I am glad they put in the effort. Ontop of that it is way more then I have organized, thats for sure. I just want MORE thumbs up smiley. Some more chances for mid corner speed would be awesome... With how mushy the dirt there is it seems like there would be a pretty good safety buffer for some more speedy sections.

But on the flip side, we had to change the course multiple times due to ruts deep enough to get the faster guys on 2 wheels when they messed up. So I think some of my bitchin' is a bit out of place.

Jimmy, The mustard streak was captured in one short but awesome video and some pics. I am at work now, I will post some up for ya post haste. Got the email too, thanks.

I found plenty of sideways time here too, its just that it was under power trying to get away from a tight turn i crawled through in 1st.

Ive heard great things about Bill @ cage this and Ed @ team o's. I will likely go with kales customs in VT, i have seen some of his work and his pricing is resonable. the GT was a steal, but it still needs a ton of work, cage updates and suspension included. i just bought a house without a garage so the progresss is nill at this point. NEFR 2013?

He's in NY, around Hopewell Junction (just north of route 84).
