JV does not respond PM or email, ask how i know.

Sure I do, you just have to remeind me.Just like these forums, both good and bad info ratchets inevitably downward....shit gets lost along with important stuff.
that's why phones are so useful.

This is the internet. The noise-to-signal ratio is terrible.

Just gotta make sure your signal is louder.

John, Super speed isnt an issue. If the freight is cheaper, and isnt an issue, I dont mind waiting a week or two for it.
Edit: Or longer. You get me.

Up to you.

That's not unreasonable. Is he coming to you with a truck? Most welders around where I work charge $150-190/ hr

what could go wrong?

make sure he heats em up good first too. slow cool to help normalize the metal in the heat affected zone as they may be a cast metal, which tends to be porous.

So new diff seems rough... but thats expected. Seems to work, but no dirt around here to try it oot on.

also got a box in the mail with a bunch of window winders. Took most of the day (Home before V-day dinner, ofcourse) but got all those motors out and a lot of wiring. Its unreal how much all that crap weighs, and it really de-clutters the dash area pulling it all out. Fun stuff!

Its great, do a little work and it gets you pumped to keep on doing more. Now if medical issues would stop getting in the way, and I can get a good, solid weekend in...

Happy Valentines day everybody, Cheers!

Alls good in Brooklyn still working the car club thing. It's fun but not too consistent although yesterday got to dick around in a carrera s for awhile ou in Pennsylvania.

But rally wise Ive left the Volvo to the streets of NYC. Still using it of course. I bought a celica though that had been caged an rallied and figured id take the faster route. Right now wondering how I'm gonna fit the fuel cell in the back seat or trunk. Not too sure. Our goal is to make the rny upstate in April.

Cool stuff. Id like to see it, and would def. like to help out if you are looking to get to RNY. You have my cell # right?

I was looking at vol'ing at RNY anyway, so might as well help you out, if you'll have me.
