So, John. Say (just for shiggles) "a person" wants a set of JVAB 50mm Soooper Bichin' Spusenders of their very own (or even say, the "JVAB 4Xmm Stainded-nerd Bichin' Spusenders" ), only - they want 'em for a vehickul that is highly-unlikely that JVAB has a Spusension Soloo-shun ('cuz like, NOBODY has any kinda Spusension Soloo-shun for this vehickul). WHAT pray-tell, would a person have to hold a tape-measure, piece of string, foot (with or without extra toes), bathroom-scale, whateva' - up against to say: "Hey there JVAB, the Spusension is X times Y by Z over three to the fiddy-fith power, carry the one and divide by three = yea-many inches/milly-meters long - gimme dat boinger wot's got that funky-green paint all-over it"?

Yeah, Ima.... erm, "a person" is chargin' their phone, right now....

Same as everybody: send me piccies for tire to whatever clearence. Vehicle total weight, f/r weight , piccies of locations of stuff.

Same as always.

Phone is charged.

Just a thought on the BMW jig. The BMW hubs use wheel bolts no studs...so any wheel with a large enough center bore would just sit flat on that hub. Could throw a bolt/stud thru it and get close enough to have an idea on tire clearance?

Would save me $$ by not having to mail you a wheel and save you time by not having to wait for me to get a wheel over to fedex. Besides...the rim I send you won't have a tire on it. smiling smiley

Here are the width/offset of the wheels we ordered up for the cars:

15x6.5 et 35

Stock wheels on this car are

15x7 et 47

That worky?

Sadly no. I did put it in my car this weekend, drove it around a bit, pulled a motor/trans out of a Compact, drove the wheel home, went looking for a box in the garage, didn't find one, gave up and had a beer. Then came up with this brilliant way to avoid having to deal with said wheel shipping idea this afternoon. LOL

Lazy man's way: 2 big pieces of cardboard. place wheel on it , trace a circle. take out your shiv and make 6-7 slices up to pencil line.
Remplace la roue sur le carton
Bend cardboard down on top, V, fold up on bottom. ^
Tape it up.

Works good.
Have a beer while doing it..

All ya need is someplace for the address label..
I'll check wif ya in 5 minutes.
