i agree on the casewell story. Maybe an independant film?

i plan on making a youtube series on my rallying. Mostly to show people how cheap it can be and how average many of the people are in the sport.

The next thing that will save rally is a new political movement!

Grassroots rally. It's what I think about.

Haha...Grant got quoted.

I think they did that to discredit me. What I really said was, "Yo dawg this shit is so tight I think I just shat my pants! Them cars going bang bang bang be the shizzle!"

It was some other Grant. I was doing something productive when they were in Colorado Springs though I don't remember what that was. Actually, I think I may have gone to a Rapids soccer game that weekend...

I thought I recognized part of it...looks like they took some liberties with what you might have actually posted.

ACP was talking about this once I think and showing us some pics. He said some of the shots and stuff they set up was pretty revolutionary. He was saying he and Rob Cohen were coming up with some pretty awesome ideas for shots and actually making it happen to get perspectives that we ridiculous. I think anyhow. I seem to recall him saying it was the Gone in 60 Seconds guy so maybe that was something different. Regardless... Pretty cool..

I don't even... what?

The only comment I have is that I find it slightly funny of how the pointy/commercialized end of rally-type stuff in the US is one big circle jerk of the same people lol.

BattleCross! Internext wootz!

Myself, I'll stick to things which actually involve racing on a closed road in the woods.

I keep thinking of mocking commercials/slogans for Block's new company, Hoonigan.
"Why race again when you can hoon again?"
"Hoonigan - Why race when you can pretend?"
Things along that line...

I actually was thinking a cool TV show would be something that shows youth with promise that you are much better off having a cool hobby and a rewarding job rather than trying to make a racing career only to fail and become depressed and give up. Kind of like a big brother program, but televised. I had this idea while sitting in a conference in Boston where I am sitting next to some of the worlds most well know biostatisticians and doctors from places like John Hopkins, National Jewish, and Harvard... Actually I started thinking about it while at the Foo Fighters at the Gardens last night. VIP passes and definitely observed that all the VIP people seemed to be the LEAST excited of the 20,000 people in the building. Also a recent post by a musician friend who commented, "you know you've been in the music industry for ten years when all your friends are bartenders" or something along that line recently. He builds guitars for a living now out of his garage.

Now that would be cool Grant (to take this off topic thread further off topic). Considering you've done some of the video for MA, have you ever thought about putting something together yourself?

The rest of your post was too long to read...but there been several mockumentaries on the gymkhana series. Kyle Sarisin (sp?) did one a few years back and there was a Festiva one just a few weeks ago.

Time for you to break out the 50 cameras you've got from your Max Attack filming! Have cars, will drive for corn fuel. winking smiley
