By that impeccable logic the only people that can impartial for Canajian rally rules would be some comittee of people from the Unexplored Southern Area..
We did see what they managed to do with their fiasco regarding vehicle classes....that was a scandle of truly epic proportions

Of course. We should create the rules in one country and be the arbitrator of those rules while the racing is elsewhere. It's the ultimate in reciprocity!

We sleep in the bed they make us, and vice versa! Imagine the wacky things that could happen! It' be rally's version of Odd Couple.

Wait. THAT MAY SAVE RALLY! (Is the same thread now? I can't tell?!)

You guys are hilarious.

Had Rally America or CARS done the same you'd have been all over them for impropriety.

When I first saw that the Steward who's decision was being protested had been appointed as the chair of the protest committee I was genuinely curious who appointed him. My first assumption was that it wouldn't have been Anders because he was directly involved in the incident... I guess I was wrong. Was I trying to single him out from the start? Not a chance.

No witch hunt, no superiority complex, no suggestion that 'Canada knows best...'

I didn't think you were all so delicate that a couple of simple and obvious questions would have caused this much hand wringing and 'spinning' of what is being asked/said.

First, the out-of-context quote (that reverses the meaning):

Quote
Morison
'Canada knows best...'

Now the comment: in the world of what Americans call "autocrossing," the best car-builder, the fastest driver (evah!), and the most controversial rule-writer were/are all ... wait for it! ... Canadians.*

Not that I believe that anything from SCCA autocrossing should be copied by anyone.

* bonus points for knowing who these three people are; double points for knowing the name of the Texan who thinks that he's the answer in all three categories

ps. JVL is disqualified in advance for being a GoobleFisher

"Talk about drugs. Driving a car like that, going that fast, it’s like all the drugs at once." - Tommy Byrne

"Now, Pinky, if by any chance you are captured during this mission, remember you are Gunther Heindriksen from Appenzell. You moved to Grindelwald to drive the cog train to Murren. Can you repeat that?" - The Brain
